I have a friend named Angel who takes me to all the cool 'unknown' spots in town. I am always amazed at how many options there are to eating out around here!
My wife and I had a great meal at Clarke's Restaurant. We were celebratoinga special occasion...we certainly couldn't afford it on my salary every week, but what a wonderful DOITNW experience they had for our celebration! Thank you for the DOITNW Website, that's how we decided to go to Clarke's.
We went to Besaw's in NW Portland recently on a Saturday morning. My wife and I enjoyed their food, service, and drinks --- we both had 'Greyhounds' which was a real treat for me in the morning.
The restaurant was comfortably full early on a Saturday, leading me to believe it's a pretty popular breakfast destination. We live in Southeast and made the drive to Northwest just to eat there!
